Our clients, a retired professional couple, recently embarked on an exciting chapter in their lives by choosing to make their beloved ski chalet their primary residence, two and a half decades after initially building it. They entrusted us with the task of designing the interior architecture for a spacious 1,700-square-foot addition, aiming to create an inviting haven where they could joyfully host their children, grandchildren, and numerous friends. The challenge was to maximize the breathtaking views of the ski hill while ensuring durability with performance fabrics, allowing them to keep up with their energetic grandchildren. Additionally, we were tasked with seamlessly incorporating their remarkable art collection and carefully chosen antique pieces into the design, adding a layer of sophistication and personal history to this mountain retreat. The project was a harmonious blend of function, aesthetics, and the warm embrace of cherished memories.
