Our clients’ journey with their century home in this charming tree-lined downtown Kitchener neighborhood was nothing short of a labor of love. Recognizing the home’s solid foundation but its need for a complete overhaul, they decided to embark on a back-to-the-studs renovation of their kitchen, laundry and primary bathrooms. The main objective of all three spaces was to address the lack of storage and counter space while seamlessly integrating the new design to feel like an extension of their beloved existing home, as if it had always been there. As conscious environmentalists, they were also eager to infuse their passion for sustainability into the project. Given their love for the color green, not only did it become a focal point of the design palette, but it also represented their commitment to a harmonious coexistence with the environment.
